Tour Elqui Valley “To the lands of Gabriela Mistral”
In the middle of multiple colored hills, a valley appears with a privileged climate, and a unique scenery. Our trip to the Elqui Valley begins a few minutes from the city of La Serena.
We start by crossing picturesque little towns from Elqui Valley. We stop at the papaya store, to visit the plantations of this regional fruit and to be delighted with a delicious tasting. We continue towards the Puclaro reservoir, where we will be able to enjoy a beautiful panoramic sight and to visit some craft stands.
We continue towards the city of Vicuña, main city Elqui Valley, placed 61,8 kms. from La Serena. It is a picturesque city with adobe houses with a central square devoted to his most famous city dweller, Gabriela Mistral, the poet who was rewarded with the Nobel Prize of Literature in 1945 and National Award of Literature in 1951.Besides the Main Square there is the Baüer Tower, symbol of the city, brought from the city of Ulm, Germany. Here, we will also visit the town council and the church
We will visit Pisco processor plant, where we can see the making of this product, accompanied of a tasting.
Then we will have lunch in a typical restaurant of the Valley. Later we will visit the museum, where we will find part of the history of our great poetess, being also possible to see her grave from the road. We end the tour in the picturesque little town of Pisco Elqui, where we take some free time to take pictures, walk, visit craft fairs, or simply to enjoy the energy of the Valley.

Beaches Tour “Tongoy and Surroundings “
Our trip begins by Avenida del Mar in La Serena. Meeting point for young people, the Avenue begins at the Monumental Lighthouse, going through the several beaches, up to Peñuelas. Then we go to Coquimbo, La Herradura and pass through villages as El Panul, Totoralillo, Las Tacas, Lagunillas. The first place where we stop is "Guanaqueros", where we will go to the wharf where we can usually observe pelicans. We continue towards the picturesque town of Tongoy, cradle of the important national poet Víctor Domingo Silva. We will visit his square, a craft fair and dock, where it is possible to observe sea birds, sea wolves and taste some delicious scallops We keep on going through the bay, then we will have lunch in Tongoy. Then we continue our trip to the wetlands, Salinas grandes, Salinas chicas and Pachingo, where is possible to observe small archaeological sites, and a wide amount of flora and fauna. We finish visiting the beautiful beach of Socos, where we will have some free time to enjoy this wonderful bay.

Traditional Limarí Valley “Ovalle and its Valley” F.Jorge & V.Encanto
We start our trip from La Serena to the National Park Fray Jorge, which was declared a world reservation of the biosphere by the UNESCO in 1977. This park is a hydrophilous forest present only in the south of Chile. We will travel almost one kilometer and we will be able to insert ourselves in an extraordinary climate change, where the local flora and fauna show the contrast with the environment. This makes it a very singular ecosystem. We have lunch on a nearby restaurant. Our trip continues towards the Valle del Encanto, where we will be able to enjoy the view of petroglifos with anthropomorphous figures and geometric formed pictographs; also we will be able to know the cup stones used as mortars for the food during the occupation of El Molle culture. We finish our trip in the City of Ovalle, where we visit the main square and the Limarí museum.

Damas Island “The dolphin island”
We initiate our trip very early in the morning and take the Highway towards North, passing through a semidesert area with scarce vegetation. In the way it is possible to see the famous camanchaca. Also in some occasions it is possible to experience a phenomenon that only happens in some months of the year, " the flowery desert " where we can delight with species of wild flowers. After completing 122 km. approximately, we will get to Punta de Choros, fishermen's picturesque cove, where in the far distance there can be seen 3 islands belonging to the National Reservation Penguin of Humboldt, administered by CONAF: The Choros and Damas Islands located in the extreme North of the IV Region, and Isla Chañaral, who is located in the III Region. The entire surface of the Reservation is 859,3 hectares, of which 507,3 belong to Chañaral island, 291,7 to Choros Island and 60,3 to Damas Island. We board in a boat towards the islands, during the navigation we will have the opportunity to sail along the Choros island, where we will see in the rocky rim, sea wolves, seagulls, pelicans, cormorants and penguins of Humboldt, also the most of the times we can observe a colony of bottlenose dolphins that often jump and twirl around the boat, and with even more luck we will observe a blue whale. After enjoying the fauna of this beautiful island, we take course to the Damas Island, the only one where we can descend, his beaches of white sand, and turquoise colored waters invite us to walk and explore this small island, which consists of 2 beaches: Tijeras and Damas, here we will stay for about 1 hour of free time, where we can walk along delimited footpaths, take pictures, swim, or simply rest in this beautiful place. Then we continue towards the continent, and to finish this entertaining tour we have lunch in a typical restaurant, then a small trip in town to continue our way back La Serena, where we will be able to see a beautiful sunset while on the road.

Mamalluca Observatory “Star Trek”
We start from La Serena to the amateur observatory Mamalluca. Once we get to the observatory office located in Vicuña. the trip begins towards the Mamalluca Observatory, about 6 kms. far from Vicuña, where we begin the Basic Astronomy tour that consists of an introductory talk that lasts about 15 to 20 minutes in which there are presented diverse aspects of the classic astronomy (concepts, images, investigative results, challenges, etc.), as well as simulations in astronomical software. Once finished the introductory talk, it continues by observation outdoors (in terraces), where it is possible to appreciate the marvels of the sky by simple sight, this way we will be able to observe the Milky Way, the constellations, Heaps (star groupings), Nebulas, Planets, blue and red stars, etc. These objects and others will be able to be observed by us using different telescopes, which diameters change between 20 to 40 cm. The visit concludes in the main telescope located in the dome, which is computarized.

City Tours “Historical Serena”
Our cultural trip begins once we pickl you up from the hotel. The first visit is the Main Square of La Serena, (the second oldest city in Chile) where the guide tells us about the history of this beautiful city. First of all, we visit the museum Gabriel González Videla, where we will learn part of the history of this illustrious son. Then we visit the Cathedral, one of the most important buildings of the city in an architectural level, then we will continue the route of "Serenito", in which there are covered the principal streets of the old part of the city. We continue to the Archaeological Museum, which investigations on the Diaguita Culture in the Elqui Valley brought the first museum collections, continuing our trip towards La Recova, Municipal Market spanish originated, which goes back to year 1830. It receives this name according to the colonial tradition for being surrounded with arcades. We continue by Francisco de Aguirre Avenue, beautiful outdoors museum, which continues up to the monumental Lighthouse, classic symbol of our City. Then, we continue the tour by Avenida del Mar towards Coquimbo, until getting to Coquimbo's Port, with its colouring houses in the hill. We will visit this entertaining city full of histories and legends, pirates and corsairs. Then we go to Lambert Fort, Barrio Inglés, III Millenium Cross and Coquimbo's Mosque.

Collowara Observatory “From Andacollo to the sky”
We start from La Serena to the amateur observatory Collowara, Once we get to the observatory office located in Andacollo. (about 56 kilometers from La Serena) the trip begins towards Collowara Observatory, about 3 kilometers from Andacollo, where we will enjoy a guided tour, introduction in the audio-visual room supported by the Starry Nigth software, which shows the sky in real-time, locating the planets and constellations, which later we will be able to appreciate in the telescopes. Once finished the introductory talk, it continues by outdoors observation (in patios), where it is possible to appreciate the marvels of the sky by simple sight, this way we will be able to observe the Milky Way, constellations, heaps (star groupings), blue nebulas, planets, blue and red stars, etc. These objects and others will be able to be observed by us using different telescopes.
